Don’t Ignore Your Own Evidence

Seriously. This is what I have to say when it comes to listening to the comments, criticism, advice etc. from people who have not fixed themselves. In the keto community we are constantly being bombarded with "information" from people wanting to tell us how bad, dangerous, unhealthy, and unsustainable etc. that keto is yet all of this information is coming from people who haven't even fixed their own weight or health issues.
People new to Keto are constantly asking, "My aunt Sally said that her doctor said keto will kill your kidneys. Is this true? What should I say to her?" And to that I say you don't have to respond to ignorant people. You can just say, "I'm not worried" and then go about your business doing what you know is best. Do not let dogma and diet bullies sway you from doing what you know is right for you. Do not ignore your own evidence! Follow the evidence trail left by people who have fixed/are fixing their weight and health issues. Follow the people who have made changes and have results-even if they aren't all the way to goal. Do not listen to aunt Sally talk about how bad keto is while she's eating her second piece of pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving dinner.
Do you know what I'm saying? Good.
